My art show is about the great landscapes we have here in America, some of them are our backyard views. The connection between all the works that I am showing is that they are all landscape artist and they painted all of them on American landscape especially when they were exploring the West and had to paint accurate paintings or photographs. My process in selecting the theme and artist was that I googled paintings of landscapes and several of them came up, so then I narrowed it down by choosing American Landscapes. When I chose the artist to be featured in my gallery, I googled American Landscapes artist, several of them came up, and then I looked up their artwork that you will be seeing in the gallery.

"An element that everyone tries to hide or crop out has meaning, and it can be a thing of absolute beauty." - Len Jenshel
Jenshel's photograph shows the natural power and beauty that our country has, the parked car shows that many tourists come and see the Monument Valley. The photograph shows that humans can not control the land we live on. The picture was taken near the Utah- Arizona border.
This beautiful picture of this landscape that is only a few hours away, it is incredible that mother nature created the most beautiful landscapes. I have always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon, this picture makes me want to visit the Monument Valley now.
